To the position of chair, Paula brings more than 40 years of Christian ministry experience, having served as a pastor, campus minister, hospice chaplain and nonprofit director. A native of the tarheel state from Orange County, Paula earned both college and seminary degrees in North Carolina. She is married to Paul, who serves as pharmacy director for the Hot Springs Health Program. They have two sons: Joel who is married to Rosie Chandler and makes his home in Madison County, and David who is married to Caitlyn Haynes. Paul and Paula have called Madison County home for over 30 years.
